Since the release of the Nokia E55 is approaching, (though not as fast as we would like to,) it is time to take a look at what the retail package of the E55 will contain. Besides the E55 itself, there will be the basic things like charger, battery, headset, etc.
The battery included will be the BP-4L. To charge it you will get the Nokia microUSB charger AC-10. It is the same as that of the N85. The package contains also the CA-146C charger adapter. This adapter enables you to charge your new E55 with Nokia 2mm or 3.5mm chargers. This way you have the freedom to use any Nokia charger for your phone.
One of the most important things for any phone is the headset. The E55 comes with a HS-48 stereo headset. It is one of Nokia’s standard headsets and not really the best. So if you like to listen to music with your cell phone or use often headsets for phone calls it would be better to buy a more capable headset which fits your needs.
To transfer data to your phone the retail package of the E55 contains the CA-101 USB data cable and for data storage you will get a 2GB microSD memory card. Since this phone is not multimedia centric 2GB should be enough but if you are in need of more storage you can just buy new microSD cards which are pretty cheap at the moment.
Other than those accessories the package will also contain a User Guide and the Nokia PC Suite v7.2 which you will find saved on the 2GB microSD card.
The E55 will also come with some services. The first one are 10 one-day licenses of Nokia Maps which will be valid for 3 months from the day of purchase. The next one is a 60-day subscription of Files on Ovi. In those 60 days you have 1GB storage at your disposal. The last one is a lifetime subscription of Nokia Messaging.

Does anybody know the release month of the E55? May? June?
I think you can expect it by the end of June but there isn’t an exact release date/month.
DUDE ! Way to many useless pictures of Email client that many fans are already aware of. I came to THIS blog SPECIFICALLY for information about the E55 that is UNIQUE to this device – only to be saddened. Sure the pictures get your blog counter higher if you want to be paid eventually. But users & followers will be board if its just another blog.
Get down into the guts of the E55 you have at your disposal. You are the ONLY blog that has it right now … mobile-review is the first, your the second!!
Now what about the predictive text engine? Is it augmentable. Can you teach it new words, names etc. THIS is what the purpose of the compact-qwerty device is for.
What is your next review … I dropped a hint and WILL post on MY blog what you’ve found is unique. I blog for fun and personal interests in the platform, not to get king of the hill or ca$h.
If I was only interested in cash I definitely would have chosen some other topic to blog about and not a single cell phone which isn’t even a mass market product.
This is my first blog and it exists to present every information available for the E55 and its software (App, Games etc.). If it was possible fo me to get my hands on a E55 at the moment I would definitely write about every detail of the phone. But as you can see I didn’t have the chance to play with one yet. It is really hard for a newbie to get phones that aren’t available on the market you know.
Sooner or later your will get your desired information but it may take some time since at the moment there is no new news about the E55. If it makes you happy I will take a closer look into the software of the E75 in the next days and report about it.
About all the pictures of the Email client. Sure the fans who really are into this device know this already but there are also some who don’t and I think they may appreciate all the screenshots. Not everyone researches every single fact about a phone like you or me.
Anyway thanks for letting me now your opinion.
